30,000 children die of hunger very much in the world every day. One person in about five people suffers from undernourishment and starvation on the earth. But the world's population is increasing rapidly now. It is cause of food crisis. Especially, an increase in the population in the developing country is remarkable. It seems that world population increases up to 10 billion in 2050 now though the world's populations are six billion people. Really, can the one food be produced for 10 billion?
The problem from what is that the advanced country is doing the luxury now. Can 10 billion people similarly enjoy a high standard of living? We may have to change especially from simple meal to a luxurious meal to eat meat like Japan before in China. The self-sufficiency in food of Japan is 28% in grains. The advanced country has almost exceeded 100%, and North Korea is 79%. Will Japan be a country that can be originally satiated? And, the half of the garbage that we put out is a raw garbage. Food of 6,000 tons a day is thrown away as garbage only even as for Tokyo. 10 million people are exceeded in the entire Japan. Self-sufficiency in food throws away and the lowest
?
Another cause is abnormal weather. The damage such as shortage of waters and downpours has occurred because of abnormal weather by global warming. Those water problems appears frankly. in China. the majority of the world's population are occupied and increase population remarkable is Asia. It is feared that the change in eating habits of Asia and the demand-and-supply balances of the agricultural output collapse greatly.
What can we do? First, don't leave half-eaten. And satiation and luxurious food are stopped. We have to avoid import food. If possible, farm products of no agricultural chemicals and low agricultural chemicals are good. Eating meat is gradually changed into the vegetable diet. I thought that our individual consideration was very important. Hereafter, I want to think about various social issues.
