Global Warming

Do you know “Global Warming”? May be, everyone heard the word. It is a big

environmental problem in the world. Global warming is , in short, rises in the surface

temperature of the earth due to increases in the concentration of green-house gases

such as carbon dioxide and methane , which we are spewing into the atmosphere at an

ever increasing rate. What happens if the temperature rises? The glacier is thawing,

and the water level of the sea will be going up.

I watched one of TV program. I knew at first that the Netherlands has worked very

hand against global warming. The Netherlands is lower than sea level. If we cannot

stop global warming, the water level of the sea will go up. Then the lowlands like those

in the Netherlands like those in the Netherlands may sink under the water. Therefore

the Netherlands and other countries are working hard to make good use of solar

energy now. Solar energy is a good energy resource. It is a clean energy because it

doesn’t produce CO2.

In this way, what we can do for the earth? I think that as possible as we don’t produce

CO2. In details, we walk instead of we use car , we don’t turn on a air conditioner when

not so hot and we use energy of nature and so on. We can do little things for saving

our earth. Let’s stop the global warming!
