Talking

Today, we do not talking enough to anyone. Just say, ”Hello” ”Thank you” “Sorry”. In Japan, we don’t talking enough recently more and more especially young people. One reason is rapid spread of the mobile phones. Almost young people, almost teenager have that. Of course I do. We do text to friends, parents, and we can make reservation to use a mail. We don’t need call to the hotel or shops! It’s so useful but it’s non talking. Someday we will not need voice…
I know Japan have a really great word. It is “Itadakimasu”. We say that before eat meal. And join one’s hands together. It is for thanks to food and farmer. Then, we are having meal. We also say “gochisousama” after eating. That mean is also thank you. So, we must have thanks for food, and we need speaking for all. But I think only Japan has say something before and after eating. When I was living overseas, I never said anything before and after eating. Japan has so beautiful word, but sometime I see people not say Itadakimasu. It’s little sad.

Recently make dramatic progress in technological advances. E-mail, TV phone, Internet, and etc... We are gong to become increasingly difficult of talking someone. A few times ago, we still did not have these resources. Our resources were only send a letter. It is one’s own handwriting. It’s not speaking, but I think it is same as to talking. Handmaids have warm. But I know E-mail is too, but, letter is written by one self’s hand. Letter has power same as talking.

We need more talking. Talking is deepening one’s interchange with other people and conversation has power of live in harmony. We talk and talk with your family, friends, or other one. Then, we will be smile.
